A beautiful early 20th century ruby and rose cut diamond five stone scroll motif ring. It has a centre ruby which is flanked by two rose cut diamonds which, in turn, are flanked by two further rubies all within a scroll setting. It is a lovely buttery yellow colour that only age can achieve. It looks to have been expertly re-sized in the distant past so no reason why it can't be done again should it not be your size. It is a UK size O & US size 7 1/2 - 7 3/4 and it weighs 1.6g. It is fully hallmarked inside the band for the Birmingham assay office and has a date letter for 1919.
